About Frog Con

Welcome to Frog Con 2025! Frog Con is a free, online convention that celebrates frogs and raises awareness and funds for frog conservation. For over a week in October, we host a froggy Artist Alley, panels, music, games, and more! Each time we host the event, we pick a different theme, and this year’s theme is circus/carnival!

If you are a musician / producer who loves frogs and would like to make music for charity at Frog Con, we would love to have you join us! Please read the following document carefully before submitting an application!

How does music at Frog Con work?

Each musician will make at least 1 song that is themed both around frogs and to this year’s Frog Con (circus/carnival). Here are a few ways that the music will be used:

The song(s) each Musician makes for Frog Con will be compiled into an album available for digital download on our online store during the event, with 50% profits going to charity, and the rest split between the musicians.
To help promote your work, we will host a live radio-type panel featuring all the songs and introducing the musicians. Music will also be used as background music for other panels and potentially in Instagram posts.

Musicians will be featured on our Artist Alley map, alongside other froggy artists and game devs.

Frog Con will not be asking for ownership of your music in any way, only that you let us sell it on your behalf during the convention. After the convention is over, you may sell and use your music in any way you’d like since it is yours. A few months after the event, we will likely upload the album to Youtube as well.
