Join Team Frog to help foster a loving froggy-community, make Frog Con awesome, and support frog conservation!

Team Frog is the team of volunteers that runs Frog Cult and Frog Con. We are spread out around the world and work together to make Frog Con a reality, and Frog Cult a great community for frog-lovers to be in! Frog Con is a free, online convention celebrating frogs and raising funds and awareness for amphibian conversation.

We are looking for some enthusiastic frog lovers to join our team at both the Exec and Frelpers (froggy helpers) levels. There are a few specific roles we are looking to fill, but if you have other skills to offer we would still love to receive your application!

Please take the time to read this document if you are interested in helping out. ****Depending on what role you apply for, the amount of time and work required from you will differ. In some cases helping out might be a big commitment (especially for Execs), so we truly appreciate it!

General requirements / generalist roles

Team Frog consists of two main levels: Exec and Frelper. In general, the Frelpers help out with smaller tasks and have less responsibility than the Exec team. The Exec team is responsible for managing and running the essential parts of the convention.

Meetings happen about once a month throughout the year, and ramp up to about once a week closer to Frog Con.
You must be at least 16 years old to join Team Frog.
Knowledge about frog science and frog care is an asset, but not required. Connections to frog-related organizations and professionals would be great as well.
We would like to recruit more teammates from all around the world, since most of our team is currently based in Canada and United States.

Compensation

Helping with Frog Cult/Con is on a volunteer basis. We provide some compensation via official Frog Con merchandise and other gifts but are not able to compensate monetarily.

However, artists who contribute to designs for official Frog Con merchandise will receive royalties for those designs.

Depending on your involvement, we may also be able to provide reference for job applications, or you may be able to add this to your resume.
